Dr. Kelley Owen
Dr. Kelley Owen was born and raised in Morgantown. Her father Eugene “Doc” Owen opened Hillcrest Veterinary Clinic in 1961. She enjoyed helping her father in his veterinary duties as she grew up.
She is a graduate of University High School, has a degree in animal science from West Virginia University, and in 1990 received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. Her father sadly passed away while she was in her last year of veterinary school. Upon finishing her doctorate, Dr. Owen came back to Morgantown and was the sole practitioner at Hillcrest until 2008.
Her veterinary interests include preventative medicine and nutrition, natural medicine, clinical case work-ups, and work with local humane and rescue groups.
Her hobbies are bodybuilding and dog training. She is active with the Mountaineer Kennel Club and Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia.
Dr. Owen is married to Mark Haseleu, also of Morgantown, and they have 9 dogs: Sammi, Jessie, Tallie, Lilly, Bruno, Yoshi, Beverly, Duke, and Luigi and 2 cats: Minerva and Kit Kat.
Dr. Aaron T. Pollock
Dr. Aaron T. Pollock is a native of Fairmont. After completing his undergraduate studies at West Virginia University, he attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1999. He has been working in private practice since graduating and has worked at the North Central West Virginia Emergency Clinic since its inception.
Dr. Pollock enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially surgery and critical care. He is a strong believer in the value of the physical exam and encourages preventative medicine.
He resides in Fairmont with his wife, two sons, three dogs: Fergie, Jewels, and Ellie, one cat, Jaxx, and a horse, Bubba.
In his spare time, Dr. Pollock enjoys spending time with his family, beekeeping, playing basketball, and working on old Gravely tractors.
Dr. Jess Anderson
Dr. Jess Anderson was born and raised in Morgantown. Halfway through her undergraduate career, with the original intent of pursuing human medicine, she started work as a veterinary assistant at Hillcrest Veterinary Clinic. Soon after, it became clear to her that her true passion was for veterinary medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science in animal science from West Virginia University and moved south to Athens, GA for veterinary school. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) in May 2012, receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
In June 2012, Dr. Anderson moved to Lake Wales, FL where she started work as an Associate Veterinarian for Lake Wales Veterinary Hospital, a 5-doctor small animal practice. After a great year in Florida, she became homesick for family and the Mountain State and decided to move back home to Morgantown. She is thrilled to be back home and working at Hillcrest Veterinary Clinic, the place where her career started in 2006.
Some of her interests include dermatology and preventative medicine. She studies acupuncture and is excited to bring this additional aspect of medicine to the clinic. She has a passion for client communication and enjoys building relationships with current and future clients and their beloved pets.
Dr. Anderson resides in Morgantown with her beautiful daughter and son, her dog, Harper June, and her four cats: Gidget, Tysan, Pyper, and Susan. She also has Johnnie, a 25-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse, who has traveled all over the East Coast with her. In her free time, she loves reading, spending time with family, and horseback riding.
Dr. Molly Allen
Dr. Molly Allen was born and raised in Fairmont. She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and her graduate degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Allen moved to Charleston, SC to be closer to the beach and warmer weather. She worked in an 8-doctor private practice until deciding to move back to West Virginia to be closer to her family.
Her special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, dentistry, and dermatology.
Dr. Allen lives in Fairmont with her husband, their two children, two dogs: Piper and Pinky, and one cat, Nala.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Mikell Adair
Dr. Mikell Adair was born and raised in Fairmont. She received her undergraduate degrees from Fairmont State University (RVT) and West Virginia University. She attended The Ohio State University to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina where she practiced as an emergency clinician at a busy specialty veterinary practice for over 10 years before deciding to move back to the “Friendly City.”
Dr. Adair is passionate about providing the best and most practical care to our clients and their furry family members. Her veterinary interest is emergency and critical care.
She resides in Fairmont with her husband and their two children, two dogs: Crosby and Cal, and a cat, Banks.
When time allows, Dr. Adair enjoys staying active, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Franci Kenney
Dr. Franci Kenney was raised in Logan, West Virginia but moved to Morgantown, WV in 1993. She completed her Bachelor of Science at West Virginia University, and obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 1991.
Dr. Kenney resides in Fairview, WV with her three children, four horses, goats, and two cats: Nelson and Elphaba.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling the world, and enjoying the great outdoors.
